It's hard to believe that this smooth and easygoing kind of prog is really from Germany - without knowing, I would have bet my Stratocaster that they are from the UK! The "Canterbury" tag is fully appropriate here - the album gives me a pleasant flashback to the 70's "Hatfield And The North" era, and at times it even sounds like Robert Wyatt taking over the vocals. Among the 70's bands Thomas Klarmann cites as his musical influences are some of my own favorites, like "Greenslade", "Gryphon", and "Return To Forever". This is the third abum out of currently four - albums #1 and #2 are available here on Bandcamp as well, and I can tell you already that they are superb, too! Sven B. Schreiber (sbs)

As a Peter Hammill Fan I can only love this.
Don’t get me wrong, this ain’t just a copy.
The songs are very individual, but they still have that PH Flair. The jazzy inclusions takes it even further away from that, while the vocals brings it back again .
But it all fits very well together.
Great album 👍 Boris Stalf
Subdued and elegiac songs from Tom Kelly that have the grandeur of classical music, the technicality of prog, and the sweep of synthwave. Bandcamp New & Notable Jun 6, 2020

I received this as a surprise present by the band for pre-ordering the upcoming album, so thanks a lot to you, too :-))
As could be expected by Pat Sanders & Co, highly melodic prog that should, for instance, appeal too friends of Fish-era Marillion (although Uncle Fish would never have reached those high notes ;-) ) and some instrumentals (from beautiful miniatures like Bubbles to the more epic Last Supper). Among many other fine things offered here, I especially love Pat's piano playing! Carsten Pieper
